"I have watched each and everyone of you with absolute pleasure in your wonderful class work and variations during the competition. Although we unfortunately couldn't see you live, I could feel your energy, passion and dedication through the wonderful work you shared.
In this strange time, often overpowered by Covid regulations, I believe ballet, our beloved artform, needs new voices, hope and creativity more then ever. Seeing you, the young generation that will continue to inspire many people around the globe with your technique and artistry, has given me so much hope for the future. The incredible amount of talent on display has shown me that the future of ballet is bright.. very bright! "

"The aim of a ballet competition is to give a goal to dancers, in their classwork, to develop both technically and artistically. It gives challenges in abilities, musicality, movement quality and technical achievement to become a more refined dancer. I've always believed that after having good teachers and coaches, the responsibility to improve become a part of each dancer's personality. You become your own best teachers, in effect. Competitions give you a goal in which to express that."

“ I very much enjoyed watching the candidates perform their class work and variations. It was so encouraging to see such spirit and determination shine through in what has been a very difficult year for us all. It was also reassuring to see some excellent training during the class work and would highlight how important it is to also present your classwork with a sense of performance, especially in a competitive environment, all good practice for future auditions. Congratulations to you all and thank you to your teachers and parents who work so hard to support and nurture you. Keep working hard and love what you do”
“It has been a pleasure and a privilege to be invited to serve on the AGP panel again this year. I must applaud the team of AGP for continuing to contribute towards the education and development of young dancers in 2020, despite the great challenges the year has presented globally.
This year more than ever we have seen the passion and dedication of young people driven by the love of dance. It has been humbling and inspiring to watch the videos of so many talented dancers who have kept their training strong and consistent during such difficult times. The future of dance will be bright in the hands of so many talented and passionate young people. Well done to all participants!”
