After graduating from The Royal Ballet School, Miho joined the English National Ballet as the first Japanese dancer. She danced at major theatres in Europe and Korea. After returning to Japan, she danced as the Soloist at the New National Theatre Ballet Tokyo and the K Ballet Company for 10 years.

 

After retiring from the stage, she returned to the U.K. to study the Cecchetti Method and was awarded the Grety Salomonson Bursary and the Diana Barker Memorial Fund from the Cecchetti Society U.K. She was awarded the Enrico Cecchetti Diploma qualification in 2010, and now holds a Cecchetti Licentiate teaching qualification from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing U.K. She recently translated a heritage film of the Enrico Cecchetti Diploma to Japanese (available from the Opus Arte at The Royal Opera House).

 

She is a Founder and a Principal of The Ballet Garden in Tokyo since 2011. She has taught for the Elmhurst Ballet School, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the Legat School, and the Matthew Bourne's New Adventures, Great Britain.

 

鶴谷美穗於英國皇家芭蕾舞學校畢業後,獲邀請加入英國國家芭蕾舞團,成為第一位加入該團的日本舞蹈員。  她曾在歐洲和韓國的主要劇院演出。   返回日本後,她在東京新國立劇場芭蕾舞團及K芭蕾舞團擔任獨舞員共10年。

 

退出舞台後,她回到英國學習Cecchetti學派教學法,並獲得英國卻革堤學院委員會頒發的The Grety Salomonson 獎學金和戴安娜巴克紀念基金。   她於2010年獲得Enrico Cecchetti 高級文憑,現在擁有英國皇家舞蹈教師協會頒發的Cecchetti 學派教學資格。 最近,她把Enrico Cecchetti文憑的傳承電影翻譯成日文,存放於英國皇家劇院的Opus Arte。

 

在2011年,她在東京成立了"芭蕾舞花園"擔任創辦人兼院長。   她曾為在英國的艾姆赫斯特舞蹈學校、蘇格蘭皇家音樂學院、英國萊加特舞蹈學校和英國的Matthew Bourne's New Adventures任教。
